FOG GARDEN

17-Public Water Public Space (photo Ana

Fog Garden reconciles the biological and technical natures of water through an application of fogponics, which transforms a forgotten entry tunnel into Tivoli Park into a point of urban delight. Adjacent to the National Gallery, a thicket of pipes emits clouds of mist to feed translucent capsules of flowering plants. The sensory effect changes from a cascade of color and flowery scent to the rhythmic sounds of dripping to backlit walls of ice and snow.
